Start of the Educational Course under the PROZVET Project in Medvezhyegorsk

An organizational meeting devoted to the educational part of the project ‘PROZVET – Promoting sustainable development in Transbaikalia and Karelia through expanding the role and participation of local public organizations and women in multilateral territorial alliances’ was held on 14 September 2021 in Medvezhyegorsk. The educational course is intended for unemployed and/or interested in starting business women and start-up female entrepreneurs who want to start a business (entrepreneurship in tourism).

The meeting was attended by the KRC Director General Nikolai Oskin who introduced the main goals and objectives of the PROZVET project. The project expert Aleksandr Konovalov presented the training plan for entrepreneurship for participants. The Grant Competition with an award of 300,000 rubles in funding for the best business plans that will be prepared by the end of the course.

The Head of the Economic Department of the Administration of Medvezhyegorsky District Galina Kornykhina, and the inspector of the Employment Agency of Medvezhyegorsky District Alla Vasilyeva spoke on the topic of different business support formats as well as support provision for the unemployed. The meeting was also attended by the First Deputy Head of the Medvezhyegorsky District Administration Aleksei Sergeev.

The participants unanimously approved the study plan and elected the group leader. Handouts were prepared for participants to help them in the learning process.

The recruitment of participants for educational part of the project in the target districts (Pitkyarantsky, Pryazhinsky, Suoyarvsky, Medvezhyegorsky and Sortavalsky Districts) continues.
