Cooperation between friendship houses of Karelia and Tatarstan

Another important result of the trip to Kazan was the signing of a cooperation agreement between the House of Friendship of Peoples of the Republic of Karelia and the House of Friendship of Peoples of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The parties, represented by the head of the House of Friendship of the Peoples of Karelia Elena Orekhova and the director of the House of Friendship of the Peoples of Tatarstan Irek Sharipov, agreed on the joint organization and holding of various events, the creation of information products aimed at preserving, developing and popularizing the cultural and linguistic heritage of the peoples living on the territory of the Russian Federation. Federations, harmonization of interethnic relations and countering extremism.

Once again we thank the House of Friendship of the Peoples of Tatarstan for organizing a rich program of stay in Kazan.

The trip was organized within the framework of the project “Interethnic relations in the modern world: new challenges - solutions”, implemented with the support of the Grant Fund of the Head of the Republic of Karelia.
