And we have wonderful news!
The KRCLC project ‘Communication Bridges as a Tool for Solving Modern Interethnic Problems’ became the winner of the second competition of the Grant Fund of the Head of the Republic of Karelia
We are among 20 initiatives in the field of culture, sports and popularisation of healthy lifestyle, education and patriotic upbringing, which will receive funding from the second competition in 2024.
The aim of the project is to harmonise interethnic relations in the Republic of Karelia through the actualisation of effective formats of work with the population in conditions of increased social tension in society.
A series of practical events in the districts of Karelia (Lakhdenpokhya, Belomorsk, Segezha, Olonets, Loukhi) will provide an opportunity to get acquainted with the most effective formats of local work. The most important event is the opening of the new 15th Centre for Interethnic Cooperation in the settlement of Loukhi, the most isolated and largest district in Karelia.
Project partners:
Administration of the Loukhi municipal district;
