Yesterday in the museum ‘Brick yard’ of the Local History Club ‘Obereg’ the opening of the renewed exposition was held.
The Brick Yard recently turned a year old. Thanks to the project ‘Industrial Karelia: New Dimensions’ 200 new plates with the history of each brick in the collection appeared. Five new showcases, also made under the project, housed other expositions on the history of the region.
The event was opened by Nikolai G. Oskin, head of the project ‘Karelia Industrial’, and Tatiana Grigorieva, head of the club ‘Obereg’. The event was attended by more than 30 people - schoolchildren, local historians, representatives of the library and NGOs. A tour of the museum and the renovated exposition was conducted for all those present.
The project is being implemented using a grant from the President of the Russian Federation, provided by the Presidential Grants Fund.
