Together with the Regional Museum of the Northern Ladoga region, the KRCSO is finalising the implementation of the project ‘Mining and Industrial Heritage of Karelia’

One of the main results of the project will be the launch of an information resource - a map of the Republic of Karelia with objects of mountain-industrial heritage

We are pleased to announce online meetings with teachers and educators to present the new resource. The portal contains detailed information about each site, archive and contemporary photographs, and author articles. It is assumed that this resource can be used for work with schoolchildren and students within the framework of the lessons ‘My Karelia’, when preparing project works and studying individual topics (Geology, Mining, etc.).

From 19 March a number of remote meetings for teachers with the developers of the portal will be held for a short briefing on its use. The main sections of the site, information search, route building, gamification elements will be demonstrated.
