The Ministry of the Republic of Karelia of national policy, relations with public and religious associations held an information and methodological seminar “Write report easily” for non –profit organizations on June, 22 in 2017.
The work on implementation of micro – projects continues within the framework of the main international project “ComUnYouth” proposed by representatives of the Thematic Working Groups. One of such micro-projects was the seminar “How can lives be improved for young people in border regions” which took place in the capital of Denmark, in Copenhagen in June, 20-21.
On March 16, within the framework of the project “War to Remember and Not to Repeat,” realized by the “Petrozavodsk ” Foundation with the support of the Russian President’s Grant committee for the development of civil society, the “Ski Trail of Heroes” was held in the city of Pitkärante.
On May 29, 2019 in Kondopoga, a round table was held on the theme “Uniting the peoples of Russia during World War II” at the Center for Interethnic Cooperation within the framework of the project “Karelia - the world of national cultures”, funded by the Ministry of National and Regional Policy of the Republic of Karelia.
On November 2018, Fund « Petrozavodsk » Win the president’s Grant of Russian federation of the Project implementation «Война – помнить и не повторять». The project aims is to create in the local history Museum of Pitkaranta’s city named after V.F.
On January 16-17, a two-day round table was held as part of the Tasty Dimensions of the Province project. The event was attended by chefs from the Republic of Karelia (restaurants “Pauliner”, “Solo Burger Bar”, “Corsair”) and Norway (restaurant “Old Major”, Resthon AS), as well as experts in the field of gastronomic tourism.
