On November 2018, Fund « Petrozavodsk » Win the president’s Grant of Russian federation of the Project implementation «Война – помнить и не повторять». The project aims is to create in the local history Museum of Pitkaranta’s city named after V.F.
On January 16-17, a two-day round table was held as part of the Tasty Dimensions of the Province project. The event was attended by chefs from the Republic of Karelia (restaurants “Pauliner”, “Solo Burger Bar”, “Corsair”) and Norway (restaurant “Old Major”, Resthon AS), as well as experts in the field of gastronomic tourism.

The Karelian Resource Center of Non-governmental Organizations was visited by Tarvo Nieminen, the new head of the Petrozavodsk branch of the Consulate General of Finland, by invitation of the organization on the 31 August.
The distinguish feature of Petrozavodsk is that it regularly has the Days of different cities and countries that represent the history, culture, modern life of our foreign partners. The last autumn we hosted artists, masters, scientists from the Swedish sister city Umeå and German Tübingen.
On August 10th the final round table of the project “Social Lego” was conducted in the department of social and medical care for the elderly and disabled people of the center “Istoki”.
On August 15 the 12th Center of interethnic cooperation was opened in Kalevala within the framework of project “Common World: support for harmonization of interethnic relations in the Republic of Karelia”.
